We set no cookies and run no tracking scripts. To count readers, our server records, for each request, which kind of page was served (front page, archive, feed and so on), the visitor's country, the website that linked to us (its name only) and whether the request looks automated. We do not store IP addresses, full browser identifiers or any account details. These counts are kept in aggregate by our host, Cloudflare.
If you use the form, we keep what you send: the link, what you asked for, your details and your email if you give one. We use it only to act on the request and to reply.
The ad slots currently show our own house ads, which use no cookies. When a third-party ad network such as Google AdSense serves ads here, that network and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies is explained at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. This page will be updated before any network goes live.
Headlines lead to other websites, which have their own privacy policies. Preview images load from our own server, not from the publisher.
